Nature of physical problem:
The process e+e- -> nunubar(etagamma) provides important observables,
which are sensitive to parameters of the standard electroweak theory as
well as possible effects of new physics. A Monte Carlo simulation of
this process is necessary in order to evaluate the effects of QED
bremsstrahlung and the experimental apparatus on the observables in
question. Simultaneous control of the precise Standard Model
predictions and contributions due to hypotethical new physics extensions
is mandatory in such studies.
Method of solution
The Monte Carlo simulation of nunubaretagamma production is augmented by
the calculation of weights incorporating effects due to the SM and
anomalous WWgamma couplings. Calculation of these weights is performed
in the GengLib library. Powerful reweighting methods and fitting with
the help of a Monte Carlo sample are thus possible for experimental
measurements of anomalous couplings. Any experimental cut and apparatus
efficiency may easily be introduced by rejecting some of the generated
events.
Restrictions on the complexity of the problem
The high precision of the program may vary depending on the input
parameters. See details in the Long Write-up.
Unusual features of the program
Main program and other libraries published independently in COmput.
Phys. Commun. must be loaded to run this library. There is no separate
distribution of the code prepared for this version of the library. It
is stored in its own sub-directory, archived with KORALZ, version 4.04
(Comput. Phys. Commun. 124(2000)233). The demonstration program for the
library is also provided there.
